Our journey through life presents us all with different challenges. There are times of great joy and victory and times of defeat, frustration, disruption, and loss. We are shaped by our experiences, family of origin, culture, natural temperament, available resources, and the people we choose to include in our lives. Ultimately, our chief mission in this world is to create a high quality of life despite the hardships we face.

I have worked over a decade with diverse populations, and my experience has taught me to regard each individual with curiosity, enthusiasm, and an open mind. Solutions are not always simple or obvious, so I approach therapy collaboratively with an understanding that recovery takes-shape through a process over time. I specialize in

I have a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and have specialized training in work with domestic violence, sexual abuse, mood disorders, and those with limited resources and cultural challenges. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, Mindfulness Practices, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-focused Therapy. These techniques support a safe and comforting space to explore barriers, strengths, and tools to reach client goals.
