Therapy is often sought when there is a discrepancy between where you see yourself currently in life and where you would like to be. I will work collaboratively with you to develop a unique treatment plan that will help close this gap and create balance and wellness in your life.

I strive to provide a safe and supportive environment in which clients can explore challenges and struggles and begin to make positive changes. A strong therapeutic relationship, I believe, helps individuals recognize the unique strengths they possess and  take  an  active  role in the transformation process. I am passionate about utilizing my education and skills to assist individuals in creating a future with excitement and hope. Together, we will develop personalized goals that work to facilitate a healthier relationship with yourself and others.

My approach to therapy is influenced by a number of theories, but I am especially drawn to styles that are person-centered and strength-based. I often integrate skill-based therapies, including CBT and DBT, with insight-oriented and emotionally-focused approaches. I have found EMDR, in particular, to provide healing and insight in response to trauma and challenging life events.
