Lauren Goff, MA, LPC (77507)

Do you feel like you are stuck on a roller coaster of emotions? Do you feel like it is impossible to find happiness and peace in your life? You must be exhausted and feel completely drained all the time. I get it; life is tough out there. Therapy can shed light on what is preventing you from figuring-out what you want, how to grasp it, and setting solid goals to get there. I look forward to working with you to find clarity so you can live the life you want.

I help people feeling anxious and stressed about life not feel anxious and stressed about life.

You and I will work collaboratively, as a team, to decrease your reactivity and increase your tolerance of intense emotional experiences. My job, as your therapist,

is to help you process your emotions and allow for the development of insight as to what’s driving them.

I received my master’s degree in Counseling from Houston Baptist University and my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University in College Station. My therapeutic career started at a psychiatric inpatient facility where I worked with adults suffering from anxiety and depression, suicidal thoughts, and emotional disturbances due to negative childhood experiences. Since then, most of my work has consisted of facilitating mental health groups in outpatient settings while also seeing individuals and couples in private practice. I work with a variety of clients ranging from adolescents to older adults, but I particularly enjoy helping young adults and to cope with hardship.

In addition to specializing in the treatment of anxiety-related disorders,

I have a special interest in treating clients with the below issues.

  • Codependency

  • Depression

  • Bullying

  • Self-Harm

  • Bipolar Disorder

  • Relationship Issues

  • Self-Esteem

  • Emotional Disturbance

  • Suicidal Ideation
