Diba Shaikh, MS, LCDC (#12213), LPC-Associate (#85775)
Under the Supervision of Nicole Ponce, LPC-S (#70868)
Through empathy, collaboration, and compassion, I use evidence-based modalities and techniques shown to empower growth and promote positive change. I help clients explore the challenges of human existence through the phenomena of the whole lived experience, accounting for the dimensions of mental, emotional and physical wellness. Sharing our narratives and experiences in therapy may be affected by anxiety, depression, stress, anger, and fear. Solution-focused in purpose, I strive to meet clients in the moment and motivate them towards goal-directed change. No matter where you are or where you have been, I am here for you and committed to helping you obtain the happiness you deserve.
My worldview embraces all race, ethnicity, gender, equality, and sexual orientations, and I strongly advocate through the lens of cultural inclusion and diversity. Humbly, I look towards the social justice paradigm and the impact of issues relating to acculturation, transculturation, assimilation and inter-generational conflict.
