Audrey Zatopek, MA, LPC (76358), LCDC (13534)
Relevant to my style, I like to challenge my clients to grow, be better, and learn something new with every encounter we have. Growth isn’t always the most pleasant to experience, but I can promise any growth I encourage will be for your benefit! I aspire to help every person I work with become his or her best self, and that starts with making a decision to dive into therapy. If I sound like a good fit for you, I look forward to our therapeutic journey together!
I was drawn to this profession because I’ve felt a calling on my life since childhood to help make the world a better place. I’ve come to love helping people repair themselves and their lives; getting to witness their metamorphosis makes it so meaningful.

LICENSE, EDUCATION, and EXPERIENCE
I’m both a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in the state of Texas. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a Minor in Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Houston Graduate School of Theology.
I have a varied work history as a therapist involving working at a Christian not-for-profit center, two psychiatric hospitals, a residential substance abuse treatment facility, and the Harris County Community Supervision and Corrections Department with DWI offenders on probation. In these settings, I have worked with persons struggling with many different issues, and as such, I am confident I can help you with yours!
