My theoretical approaches include family systems theory, narrative therapy, relational cultural therapy, person-centered counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, and structural family therapy. No matter how long or short therapy may be for you, I would be honored to share in your counseling journey.

​​​LICENSE, EDUCATION, and EXPERIENCE

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Texas, and my education includes a BA in Psychology from Baylor University and a MA in Counseling with a Concentration in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling from Sam Houston State University. Currently, I am finishing my degree requirements for my PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from The University of Texas at San Antonio. I have experience providing counseling services in a variety of mental health settings, including a residential treatment facility, an inpatient/outpatient hospital, pregnancy centers, and university counseling centers.
