Ashley Hobbs, MA, LPC (78885)

I strive to understand my client’s experience, meet them where they are in life, and help them identify where they want to go in the future. I feel this is essential to creating an optimal experience for my clients in therapy.

I am client-centered in my work, meaning I approach each client with a nonjudgmental perspective, empathy, and unconditional positive regard. Through a process of discovery, we will create a treatment plan that acts as a roadmap to where you would like to go and the goals you would like to achieve. Our therapeutic work will likely involve examining how your thoughts contribute to your feelings and how your feelings affect your behavior.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in the state of Texas. My education includes a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Sam Houston State University and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University. I have had the opportunity to work with a vast number of clients through my professional experience in inpatient and outpatient hospitals, community mental health, and forensic mental health settings.

I look forward to helping you move towards your goals, thrive, and succeed in your life.
